The Family Development project has been funded by the Leeds Children’s Fund since 2003 and was initially set out to provide support to children aged between 5-13 years and their families. In recent years this has been expanded to incorporate work with children under 5.

Services provided:
- Support included one to one work with the child
- Parenting and behaviour management
- After-school groups - we currently have two weekly after-school groups, a Friends club for children aged 5-8 years of age and Kidzone for 8- 11 years
- Holiday play-schemes
- Community cohesion work with children in year 7 and 8 attending South Leeds High School in partnership with ASHA Neighbourhood Project.
- Community cohesion work with women
- Confidence building and assertiveness courses.
- Baby and toddler groups
- Crèche provision
- Tea- time club
- Christmas grotto
- Adult Courses e.g. beauty therapy
- Girls group

Referrals
We take referrals from agencies and self referrals.
